Step 1- Sit with the legs straight in front of the body. Step 2- Bend one leg and place the sole of the foot on the inside of the opposite thigh. Step 3- Bend the other leg and place the foot on top of the opposite thigh. Step 4- Adjust the position so that it is comfortable. Step 5- Place the hands on the knees in either chin mudra or jnana mudra. Step 6 -Close the eyes and relax the whole body. Step 7- Slowly open your eyes, release the mudra. Step 8- Release legs and come to dandasana.
